SHOWCASING NEW MACHINERY WITH AWARD-WINNING STAND AT SALTEX

by T H WHITE on December 1, 2017

T H WHITE Machinery Imports attended Saltex again this year, held at Birmingham NEC on 1-2 November.

Hailed by the show’s organisers as the best-ever SALTEX event, the two day exhibition was attended by over 300 exhibitors, including two stands from T H WHITE for our Machinery Imports brands Ferris, Wright, Spider and Jensen.

Taking two stands spread across 126 square metres, visitors to T H WHITE were able to see a range of machinery from the four brands including the all-new 400s light commercial mower from Ferris with its revolutionary 4-way deck, as well as a line up of versatile and comfortable stand-on mowers from Wright.

In the Spider slope mowers area visitors were able to get a first look at the new concept 3Rider mower, which combines both ride-on and remote controlled mowing for flat and uneven, steep or dangerous ground, as well as the 2SGS, an adaptation of the popular ILD02 slope mower which has been developed to serve the demand for a go-anywhere mower that can mow under and around solar PV panels.

On the dedicated Jensen stand, guests were invited to see the latest additions to the Machinery Imports suite, including the A530L petrol chipper, a great alternative to diesel machines which at less than 750kg can be towed without a trailer license. The A540 Spider was very popular, with customers and dealers alike both interested in this heavy duty chipper which features independent adjustable tracks giving exceptional ground clearance and the ability to work effortlessly on slopes and in hard-to-reach areas.

During the show the team was delighted to receive the SALTEX award for the Best Stand in the ‘Open Space 60m2+ category’, and proudly displayed the award certificate for the duration of the event. Divisional Director, Tim Lane, was thrilled with the success of the event commenting: “It’s fantastic to be at Saltex hosting two stands and highlighting to the industry the exceptional range of machinery that we distribute. We are very proud of how the Machinery Imports division has developed over the past two years, and we are looking forward to even more success with all our brands in 2018.”

The team was also pleased to meet existing and new customers and dealers, and are now working with all interested parties to arrange demonstrations of the machines to show off exactly what they can do out in the field.
